Shandong Tiantong awarded as one of the"China's Top 100 Food Enterprises for Corporate Social Responsibility of 2016"

On 26 Nov 2016,the secondannual conference of Corporate Social Responsibility for Chinese Food Enterprises and the first Summit Forum of China Food College Union,organised by the ChinaLight Industry Federation Food Department, China Non-staple Food Circulation Association, China Foundation of Consumer Protection, China So.com as well as the China Food News, was held in Beijing with"Responsibility, Drive, Growth"as this year's conference theme. The Group's subsidiary Shandong Tiantong Food Co., Ltd., as the industry's leading representative,was invited to attend the conference, together with other big names such as Maotai, Mengniu, Yili and Nestle, etc.

During the conference, the organiser issued the China Food Industry CSR Report 2016, which provided in-depth insight on how food enterprises should put CSR into practice and how to further improve the industry standard with the aim to build a comprehensive CSR system. Meanwhile, the organiser also gave commendation to enterprises with outstanding performance in food safety and CSR in the past year. With superior product quality, good reputation and outstanding CSR practice, Shandong Tiantong was successfully awarded as one of the"China's Top 100 Food Enterprises for Corporate Social Responsibility of 2016”. The "100 Best"were selected by internet voting and a group of industry experts from the School of Humanities at Beijing Institute of Technology based on objective criteria.
